監督のエドガー・ライトもツイッターでマーガレットの訃報を伝え、嘆いた。昨年、マーガレットはエドガー監督作、アニャ・テイラー＝ジョイ主演のホラー映画『Last Night in Soho』（原題）に小さな役で出演したという。
「彼女は60年代のクールな人たちの中心にいた。ザ・ビートルズと共演したり、ボンド映画のアイコン以上の存在だったり、『Carry On』シリーズの映画にも出演した」と4投稿（のちに1投稿追加）にわたってマーガレットの出演した映画や、撮影で一緒に過ごした時間についてツイートした。人柄については「とてもおもしろく、頭の切れる人。素晴らしい思い出でいっぱい」と語っている。

I worked with her last year as she plays a small role in Last Night In Soho. She was so funny, sharp and, as you might imagine, full of the most amazing stories. I’m so glad I got to know her. マーガレットは『007 ゴールドフィンガー』のポスターやオープニングタイトルで、全身を金粉でペイントしたモデルを務めたことで有名。劇中ではショーン・コネリー演じるジェームズ・ボンドを相手に、マッサージ師ディンクを演じた。女優業は80年代半ばで休業したが、2011年にイギリス映画『The Power of Three』（原題）で復帰。遺作は2021年に公開される『Last Night in Soho』（原題）となる模様。
